Denis and Manna met in 2020 and two years later decided to make the big move to the Karoo. After months of searching for the right town and hospitality business, they found this gem of a guest house called An-Ra Guest House. Just on the corner, the old Volkskas Bank was already converted into apartments. The combination of these two properties, and the tourism potential they offered, was what made them decide to make the move to Richmond in the Upper-Karoo. 

Having left their corporate jobs to chase the Karoo dream, they started renovating the properties and have hit the ground running! It took a lot of effort to get the facilities up to standard and they still continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the guest units are kept spick and span. This would explain the top ratings on all the online platforms! They decided to add 'Rusgenot' to the name to signal a new era and also to evoke the relaxing emotion you can expect to experience when staying at their guest house.
