House rules
Please familiarise yourself with, and please adhere to the following house rules to ensure an enjoyable stay. The main aim/message is to respect one another as well as to respect the property, please. Guests who do not comply will be asked to leave/be escorted from the property without any refund whatsoever.
Check-in time is from 14:00 up to 22:00, please. If you would like to check in earlier than 14:00 or later than 22:00, please make arrangements with management well in advance. Arrivals after 22:00, without prior arrangement, will be treated as a same day cancellation (see below) and will not be checked in.
Check-out time is before 10:00, please. Guests who overstay may be expected to pay for another night's accommodation.
Rooms are cleaned only on departure. Guests that stay for longer than seven (7) days can expect their rooms to be cleaned and serviced at least once weekly. If you require your room to be cleaned or serviced more frequently, please let us know and we will arrange for cleaning. Personal laundry remains the responsibility of the guest unless arranged otherwise.
Please help us keep our linens and towels clean and stain free by not eating on the beds, please.
No smoking in the rooms, please.
Strictly no parties, events, or social gatherings of any sort may be held at the guest house or annex at any time whatsoever.
Strictly no guests are allowed on the premises without the explicit prior consent of the owner or manager.
We strive to offer quiet and relaxing accommodation to our guests. Please respect the other guests by adhering to our no noise policy.
Pets are allowed, but only when arranged with management beforehand. Only Kassier and Rekenmeester self catering apartments are suitable for pets.
Dogs should be on a leash when not in the room.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture under any circumstances, please.
Pet owners are expected to clean up after their pets, please.
Pet owners are expected to bring their own litter boxes, water bowls, feeding bowls, and bedding applicable to their pets, please.
Guests make use of our facilities entirely at their own risk. Vehicles, trailers, caravans, boats, and all other forms of transport and accompanying moveable assets/cargo/luggage, are parked/stored entirely at the guests' own risk. Neither the owners nor management can be held responsible or liable in any way for any form of loss or damage experienced at either the guest house or annex. It is the responsibility of the guest to make sure that goods are stored safely and it is entirely their responsibility to make sure that their personal belongings and assets are sufficiently insured.
Cancellation policy
It is the responsibility of the guest to familiarise himself/herself with this cancellation policy before cancellation or any attempt to amend an existing booking. Management will accept no responsibility for any loss incurred due to cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.
Management reserves the right to allocate or reallocate rooms to bookings as they deem fit to optimise existing and new bookings.
Guests will receive a full refund (less credit card fee, if applicable) if they cancel more than 7 days before commencement of the booking.
Guests will forfeit 50% (less credit card fee, if applicable) of the booking total if they cancel less than 7 days, but more than 2 days before commencement of the booking.
Guests will forfeit 100% of the booking total if they cancel less than 2 days before commencement of the booking.
Early departures will be treated as a cancellation (see above) with no refund or credit possible.
Should guests wish to amend an existing booking, it should be done well in advance and in line with the cancellation policy above, otherwise it will be treated as a cancellation.
No-shows will be treated as a same day cancellation with no refund or credit possible.
Bookings are not transferable.
Management reserves the right to amend or update this policy without any prior notice.
